The conference focused on exploring fashion and textile design through a visionary lens. It was conceived as a mechanism to inspire, a place where experimental ideas and extraordinary concepts can been shared. Shapeshifting is a conference that sits on the edge, geographically, creatively and philosophically.
Evitan was the event management and production company of this ground-breaking fashion design conference. Our role was to sit alongside the Conference project management team to manage all logistics for the Opening Gala Night at the Auckland Art Gallery, art exhibition evening, and a 3-day conference including 40 x national and international guest speakers, accommodation, itineraries. To top it off we showcased some of Auckland’s finest locations with the international speakers hosted at Waiheke Island and Piha. This event was superbly crafted by Andreas Mikellis, Frances Joseph and Rebekah Foote from AUT and expertly event-managed by Sooz Fougere-Hardie from Evitan HQ.
